October 2005 – Crazywell Pool
A select group of 4 adults and 4 children set off in perfect conditions to find Crazywell Pool. We went uphill from Norsworthy Bridge and followed the leat through the woods and then vertically uphill to the open moor. The views were realy spectacular. Crazywell pool loomed up from nowhere looking suitably mysterious. The children had great fun adopting large sticks and singing loudly as they carried them along. As it was autumn there were quite a few spectacular funghi to be found. The weather was perfect and a good time was had by all.
