In addition to the wide range of walks there are a number of social event during the year, some linked with walks and others evening get togethers
Popular evening events include a Barn Dances, skittles evenings, buffet evenings and a full Xmas evening meal. All are popular events with the group and are on offer each year.
Around Christmas time a short walk is offered finishing at a restaurant with a Christmas lunch menu available.
The Thursday evening walks usually end close to a pub where food and drink is on offer to those who wish to finish the evening off with a beer, a bite to eat and a chat.
